Job Description
|
Role Purpose:
Responsible for managing the branch (construction including fit-out) projects from initiation to their final handover. The Engineer will also be responsible for the ADIB HO and branches premises. The Engineer will also prepare the budget and operational plan including periodically tracking the performance. The Engineer will supervise/delegate/direct/control the staff in Project Management Section in carrying out the above mentioned responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops internal memos and official communication with third parties. Complies with the operational and quality manuals/procedures in execution of the jobs delegated and suggest improvements in the process execution. Analyses property feasibility, site plan, layout. Recommends the appointment of the project consultant in accordance with the policies/procedures and upon approval coordinating the execution of agreement with the consultant. Coordinate the design activities with the consultant and their approval by the ADIB Retail Banking Dept. (for branches). Carries out tendering activities, analyzes the bids received and recommending the contractor. Reporting of project's cost to business units for Retail Banking for branches. Coordinates consultant/contractor activities, and oversee all construction phases of the project to ensure that it is completed on schedule and within the established budget and specifications. |

Project's preliminary review. Agreement with the consultant and availability of design documents. Selection of contractor and reporting. Site visits, meetings with the consultant and contractor. Regular project reporting to SVP-RE, Branches and Retail Banking for new branches.

Skill Set
|
Must possess knowledge of property market in UAE, laws governing property management, working knowledge of construction industry practices, scheduling, construction installation processes, and construction document production processes, property assessments, and value engineering and property management issues. Ability to analyze property feasibility, site plan, layout. Computer literacy.
