Job Description
|
Work closely with ‘Managing Director / Project Director’, the Project Manager (Design & Delivery Team) and the Development Team to conceptualize and maintain team focus on the overall vision for the project. Ownership of all ‘commercial’ aspects of the project business plan and the preparation and presentation of periodic progress reports to relevant management committees. Identify and assess key development risks and mitigate such risks through strong project management. Monitor project budget and schedules and provide regular feedback to management of the financial status of the project. Maintain constant awareness of changes in market trends and work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to leverage market opportunities. Assist in the preparation and presentation of project development information to stakeholders and higher authorities as required. Assist in the co-ordination of the various government departments in order to ensure timely approvals and authorizations. Assist in the establishment and structuring of partnership agreements. Maintain project ‘due diligence’ and best practices project management. Assist in building the development team and training of staff.

Candidate Profile
|
A minimum of 15 years relevant experience with extensive exposure to large scale, mixed use (retail, commercial, residential and hospitality) real estate projects, several years of which should have been undertaken within the GCC region. Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of the dynamics of the regional property market embracing both commercial (financial, legal) and operational (construction practices, materials) in order to be able to provide a ‘visionary perspective’

Skill Set
|
Strong analytical skills and a working knowledge of financial modeling tools and techniques.
Arabic or English as a first language but fluency in English (speaking, reading and writing) is mandatory. Should have strong inter-personal, organizational and presentation skills coupled with a high degree of computer literacy.
